ABOUT CURT THOMPSON

As a lifelong community advocate, Curt Thompson holds heavy value in ensuring that our fellow citizens are safe, treated with respect, have access to equal opportunities, and are free from discrimination of any sort. To continue in making change and represent how closely he holds these values, Curt Thompson ran for State House in 2002 and 2004.

After serving on these positions, he became the Chairman of the Special Judiciary Committee and a member of the Rules, Appropriations, Judiciary and Ethics Committees. Curt Thompson has also gone on to be heavily involved in his community and working closely in making sure he plays a meaningful role in actively advocating for the rights of the many international and multicultural communities in not only Gwinnett County, but in all of Georgia, for economic redevelopment of distressed areas and the promotion of the small business base of Gwinnett County.

Though Curt Thompson is no longer a Georgia Senator, he continues to be an active advocate to many communities across Georgia to make sure all voices are heard, as his top priority is making your voice count!
